Our services include full analyses of injury biomechanics, airbags, and seatbelts. We use scientific and engineering principles to analyse automotive accidents, recreation, and workplace injuries. Our principal investigators have over 40 years of experience with crash tests, research, and testifying across all makes and models of vehicles and restraint systems.
Our biomechanics expert, Adam Goodworth, is a Professional Engineer with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. He also is a tenured professor at Westmont College. Adam performs research and teaches Injury Biomechanics, Engineering Materials. and Research Methods. Our restraints experts, William Broadhead, and Ted Zinke have over 40 years of experience investigating and designing vehicle safety systems.
We collaborate with test sites offering anthropometric test device (dummy) testing, crash testing, spit testing, surrogate testing, pretensioner testing, and airbag testing. Our research capacities include slips, trips, and falls, 3D kinematics, force acquisition, and accelerometry.
